Use and manage {TKN_PRODUCT_YAHOO_NAME} {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT}
{TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} is a security feature that lets some {TKN_PRODUCT_YAHOO_NAME} users sign into their account using a mobile phone instead of a password. {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} can no longer be set up for all Yahoo accounts. If you already have it enabled, here's how to use it to sign in, and how to turn it off.

For {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} to work, you must be signed into a {TKN_PRODUCT_YAHOO_NAME} app on your mobile device.
- Go to the {TKN_PRODUCT_YAHOO_NAME} Sign in page.
- Enter your {TKN_PRODUCT_YAHOO_ID_NAME}, then click Next.
- A notification is sent to your {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} enabled device. - On your device, tap the notification or open the app and tap the {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} icon {IMG_MAIL_IOS_ACCTKEY}.
- Tap the Approve icon {IMG_ACCT_AKEYYES}.
- You might be prompted to either enter or tap a verification code to confirm.
Disable {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} or manage devices
You can turn off {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} and switch back to a password, if you prefer. Or, if you're using multiple devices and {TKN_PRODUCT_YAHOO_NAME} apps, you can change where the notification is sent.
Disable {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} from a web browser
- Go to the {TKN_PRODUCT_ACCOUNT_NAME} security page.
- Click Turn off {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT}.
- Click Turn off.
- Click Turn off again to confirm.
Disable {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} from a {TKN_PRODUCT_YAHOO_NAME} mobile app
- From your {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} enabled app, tap the Menu icon {IMG_MOB_SIDEBAR}. In some apps, like the {TKN_PRODUCT_MAIL_NAME} app, you'll need to tap your profile icon instead.
- Tap {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} under your email address.
- Tap Manage {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT}.
- Tap Disable {TKN_ACCOUNT_KEY_TEXT} at the bottom of the screen to switch back to a password.
- Optionally, tap the toggle to the right of any device you want to turn on or off.
